Remember when you were a child playing outside having a world of fun, and you heard your mom call your name!!! All of a sudden your life as you know it, is interrupted by the sound of your name being called. You ran into the house to see what she needed, only to find out that she wanted you to change the television channel or to turn it on or off. How frustrating that must have been when it was finally your turn to jump rope or get tagged!!!

My how things have changed over the years. We no longer need to call our children to change the channel or to turn the television on or off, because we can use the remote control

There are many uses of a remote to include:

• To change the channel

• To save time and effort

• To surf the channels

• To program and reprogram specific devices

• To record your favorite show

• To start and stop devices

• To rewind or replay

• To resume and pause

• To synchronize between devices

The list goes on and on, but I was thinking, what if we would operate like a remote control in life. What if we changed the channel for someone else, and served others like a remote, the way our children did for us, and how we served our parents. I have been guilty of calling my children to do things for me that I could have done myself, but I now realize it helped to make my life a bit easier. There are people that need us to help make their life easier. They need us to help them start again, or to help them stop certain habits. They may need us to teach them to be more efficient and effective. They may even need help reprogramming their lives.

Whatever their need is, use your remote!!! Reach Every Man On The Earth with kindness, love, and service.

Use your Remote the next time you hear your name called. How will you answer? Use your REMOTE!!!
