How many times have you thought to yourself “I can’t change this or that because it’s too late now”!!! Or how often have you said “there’s no need trying because it’s too late”. Things can sometimes look so bleak, and all hope seems to gone with your situation. You question whether or not it’s even worth the effort.

But know today: It’s Never Too Late!!!

A couple of years ago, I was given a beautiful peace lily at my mom’s funeral, and of course this flower was special to me. I tried everything I knew to keep this plant looking beautiful, but the harder I seemed to try the worse it began to look.

I thought about throwing my precious plant away and resolving the fact that just maybe I didn’t have any peace in my home.

My children saw my plant and how emotional I was concerning it, and decided that there was still hope and that it wasn’t too late for it to live. We purchased another pot for the plant, and gave it another chance. There are so many lessons learned from keeping my plant. I learned that placing the plant in a different environment gave it hope. I nurtured it, and gave it proper lighting to help with the process.

Many times we miss our blessings because we give up too soon, but today I want to share that It’s Never Too Late!!! I understand that saying “NEVER” is a strong word, but it’s intended to be strong!!! If I ever had any doubt that it’s never too late, my plant has teaches us several significant lessons:

1. Sometimes we need to change our environment.

2. With proper nurturing, situations can change.

3. It’s important to embrace the process of change.

Its never too late!!!
