As we embark upon the different storms that arise in our lives, it’s important to embrace every aspect of the storm. When storms come, I’ve notice that we are usually given a warning. The warning sometimes comes several days to weeks prior to the storm making landfall. The closer the storm gets to landfall, the more coverage we see on television and social media about the storm and the effects that the storm may have. The warnings allow us ample time to prepare for the storm in many ways. Some times depending on the storm’s severity, we have to take shelter someplace else until the storm is over. There are other times that we must stay where we are until the storm has past. Whether we have to move out of the storm’s way or stay put during the storm, we must embrace what is happening during the storm. Make preparations before a storm comes to avoid frustration and disaster during and after the storm. Spend time in prayer and meditation while the weather is clear to avoid chaos and devastation during the storm. Embrace what He is doing before, during, and after each storm.
